Hi tech dog training is the way to train all responses. The training is
very similar for training a Lab, Chessie, Golden, in retriever training
as in training a Pointer, setter, Shorthair, etc. ,in pointing dog training.
Of course, the training of pointers and Retrievers is using different
types of responses, and different overall performance expectations .
However, the way to train is very much the same.
In many training programs the training of Retrievers is very different,
in philosophy, from training pointing dogs. And many types of
training methods use correction, force, "and all work-no play", as the
way to train.
In HI-Tech Training, the way to train all responses is through using
play along with mild discomfort (as a challenge the dog can feel he is
winning at).

Within this page I want to finish giving you a picture of what Hi Tech
Training is in the finished dog.
The dog trained with Hi-Tech is a dog willing to work to please you.
Also, a dog that you can easily bring under your control to work for
you the same as dog works for trainer. The handling of dog is very
easy, because the dog is a willing worker. The dog is happier and a
more spirited hunter, because the dog feels like a winner.

My dog training philosophy has always been that if a dog likes being with you and has a
positive attitude about training,and trusts that your guidance in training leads to being
confident in his work,then the dog will be willing to work with you.
Through the years I have spent many hours studying Behavioral Science and the ways
science has found all animals learn,and become very motivated to work. And it just so
happens that science and my own way of thinking are much alike.
There are new hi tech training procedures that work to train pointing dogs and retrievers in
much less time than standard methods. And these Hi Tech methods can also train dogs to
higher levels than standard methods. And one of the greatest benefits to the dogs owner is
the dog can learn to work for "you" ,the dogs owner, and do just as good as the dog does for
a trainer who uses Hi-Tech Training. And another added benefit is the dog gets trained and
stays trained. Because Hi-Tech Training creates much more permanent training than
standard dog training methods.

ONE EXAMPLE OF HI TECH TRAINING IS WHAT
HAVE TITLED "THE HI TECH TRAINED RETRIEVE"

For many years the way bird dogs, or any dog that did'nt natural retrieve,were
trained is with a method known as "force breaking". The way force breaking
works is by forcing a dog to retrieve with some form of discomfort  or even
pain. The results were sometimes good. But sometimes were producing a
dog that had a negative or fearful attitude about retrieving.
The better way to train dogs to retrieve is with THE HI TECH TRAINED
RETRIEVE. With this Hi Tech way of training the dog is trained with positive
reinforcement and mild discomfort that the dog can handle.The type of
discomfort used with THE HI TECH TRAINED RETRIEVE is mild electrical
stimulation form a remote trainer (commonly known as shock collar).However
the electrical stimulation is not in the form of a shock. It is very mild and the
dog can easily learn to handle this mild discomfort.
The type of positive reinforcement that works best is some form of play.I
usually use a bird wing on a fly rod. I am rewarding the dog with a play bout
with chasing the wing when the dog makes the responses that train retrieving.  
And I am using the mild discomfort of the remote trainer to push the dog to
reach and hold a bird or dummy. The play creates an attitude in which the dog
associates discomfort as a challenge the dog can feel in control of.
The dog stays wanting to face the challenge and to learn. So, ultimately this
leads to a dog that loves to retrieve and is very reliable about retrieving. A
dog that loves performing is a dog that will continue performing the trained
response. The dog no longer needs chasing a wing as reward, or no longer
needs to be pushed with discomfort . The dog retrieves because it is
something the dog enjoys doing.
I have worked for twenty four years to put together my HI-TECH DOG TRAINING
METHODS;With this scientifically formulated type dog training I can train to a
higher level than most old standard dog training methods
